Pikey Cultural Trek (Lower Solukhumbu Treks)

The Pikey Peak 4065m is the tallest hill of Lower Solukhumbu. It lies in the Solukhumbu district and Sagarmatha zone. It is a very popular trekking destination in Lower Solukhumbu. From Pikey Peak, you can see most of the central and eastern Himalayan peaks including 5 peaks more than 8000m high. They are:- Mt Everest, Mt Kanchenjunga, Mt Makalu, Mt Lhotse, Mt Annapurna and other many beautiful Himalayan peaks like Ama Dablam, Lhotse Shar, Nuptse, Number Himal, Thamserku, Mera peak (famous climbing peak)Shisapangma, etc. pikey peak is the best place for sunrise and sunset views during the good weather.

DudhKunda Lake 4560m is a holy mountain lake in the lap of Mt.Number. The trail combined provides one with a close encounter with the unique Khaling rai of this area. Dudh Kunda (lake of milk) is said to be a sacred lake and is revered by the local people. It is believed that taking deep in its holy waters will fulfill one's wishes. during full moon nights in August, a week-long celebration is held here by pilgrims and witch doctors (Jhakris). 

How to get there 
We can get there by Flight. Kathmandu to Phaplu then we can start the trek. We can get there by Bus too. Kathmandu to Jiri/ Bhandar trek to Chaulakharka Nagaur leads to the Pikey Peak area.
