The Helambu Aama Yangri is a popular tourism destination for domestic and international tourists. It lies in the east-northern part of Kathmandu Valley in the Sindhupalchok district. which district is famous for another short trek. Like, as Helambu Valley Trek, Panch Pokhari (5 lakes)Trek, Bhairab Kunda Trek etc. The Helambu Trek is the nearest trekking route from Kathmandu Valley. You can do this trek for about 8 to 10 days. 

It is a very popular trekking route. Thousands of tourists visit this place due to the warm hospitality of the Sherpa and Yolmo people and their own culture. Buddhist stupa and natural beauties of the area. This is a full Tea house trek (Lodge trek)with good accommodations and good food of your choice. In this area, you can enjoy the scenic beauty of mountains like Mt Dorje Lakpa Peak Mt Gauri Shankar, Mt.Ganesh Himal, Mt.Jugal Himal, Mt.Yangri, and many more peaks covered by snow.

How to get there:- 
Have to short drive from your hotel in Kathmandu to Sundarijal then you can start your trek. the trek ending point will be Melamchi Bazar then bribes to Kathmandu about 5hr.
