The Lower Solukhumbu Trek is a very popular trekking trail in Nepal and is famous day by day. It is a newly opened tourism destination. located in the eastern part of Nepal at Solukhumbu district. Solukhumbu district is very popular as the best tourism destination in the world. 

The world's highest peak Mt Everest also situated in this district. Lower Solukhumbu is the southern part of the popular Everest region trek. The lower Solukhumbu trek has popular tourist and nontourist areas for trekking and tours. Most trekking trails in this region are possible to do Tea House trek with limited facilities like a homestay. The lower Solukhumbu trek is away from trekkers crowded and peaceful. 

The Monastery, Gompa, a popular Hindu temple (Halesi Mahadev) is popular with both Hindus and Buddhists. Beautiful forest including rhododendron, Wildlife, different views of the landscape, Beautiful views of Number Himal from Salleri (Salleri is the headquarter of Solu-Khumbu district) popular view point-like, Dharma hill, Suke danda, Ghyangkharka (from where we can see eastern and central Himalayan range including Mt Everest, Lhotse, Makalu and Kanchenjunga which are more than 8000m high mountain and other beautiful mountain peaks. 

Lower Solu Khumbu is home to people of Ethnic groups of Rai, Magar, Tamang, Sherpa, and another different castes with their unique cultures. the magic views of the landscape, nice walking in the forest, and viewing different wildlife. Shalpa la Pass, Shalpa Lake, and Pokali waterfall are the main highlights of this trek.

We can start and end this trek in many different places like Khotang, Bhojpur, Okhaldhunga, and Sangkhuwasava districts. The main festival is Dashain, Tihar, Losar, etc.
