The Manaslu Circuit Trek is a popular trekking route in Nepal. Before, it was only possible to camp trek. now we can do a tea-house trek (lodge trek) the Manaslu trek is in the Gorkha district western part of Nepal. The Manaslu circuit trek is also like another trek in Nepal. From this trekking route, you can see many different cast and their culture including Hindu and Buddhist culture. 

You can enjoy many beautiful mountain views including Mt Manaslu 8163m high, flora and fauna, people's lifestyle and living style, and a popular day trip to visit Birendra Lake, Manaslu base camp, you can hike to the Tibet border from Samdo. The trek is much easier than it used to be with greatly improved trails along the Budhi Gandaki river gorge. The route's lowest altitude is 600m and the highest altitude is 5142m (Larkya la ) it is the highest pass in Manaslu Circuit Trek. 

Permit and prepare for this trek:-

The Manaslu trek is a restricted area so you need a special permit and you have to pay the Manaslu conservation area entrance permit fee and the Annapurna conservation area entrance permit fee. and for a special permit need to group (2 and more than 2 peoples group), You have to prepare for this trek like another trek. eg-your must need things like warm clothes, trekking shoes, a headlight, a water bottle, etc. 

When:- Autumn- September to November and Spring- March to May. 

How to get there:- By driving- from Kathmandu to Soti Khola. 

Get out:-Finally take a Bus /jeep from Tilche to Dharapani to Kathmandu/Pokhara. If you have enough time, you can continue your journey to the Annapurna circuit trek from Dharapani.  Then you can fly Or drive from Jomsom to Pokhara.

1, Tsum Valley Trek. Tea house trek.

It is a hidden valley situated in the northern territory of Nepal reaching the borderland to Tibet surrounded by the Buddha Himal and Himal chuli to the west. Ganesh Himal to the south and Sringi Himal to the north. It has been recently opened for trekkers. crossing through the beautiful village in the heart of the cultural and traditional hub, where you can find the real and true image of ancient habitants still untouched by another world. this trek requires more than two weeks and a fully tented (camping) trek as there are no Tea house facilities. 

2, Dharchey Manaslu Trek. 
This lower Manaslu trekking offers unique varieties of native culture, wildlife, flora, and fauna with magnificent panoramic views to admire the lofty mountains of Langtang Himal, Ganesh Himal, Himalchuli, Manaslu, Annapurna, Buddha Himal, and much more. this trekking route is located out of tourist traffic thus, having no tea house facilities.it is also a fully Camping trek. 

How to get there:- We can get there by Bus and Jeep from Kathmandu to Arughat via Gorkha bazaar. And Pokhara to Arughat then we can start the trek.

Upper Dolpo Trek (Aug/Sep-2012)

Dolpo is situated in the mid-western part of Nepal. Dolpo is also a popular trekking route. I was Dolpo trek in this Aug/Sep. It is my third time visiting Dolpo. And the first time in Shey Gompa (upper Dolpo) with Austrian people, Documentary making group. This time big chance to see the 66 Shey- festival. This festival comes every 12 years. It is a really historical festival.

There are more than 5 thousand people at the festival, and people come from different District-different part parts of Dolpo, Mustang, Jumla, Jajarkot, and Rukum districts. Many trekkers are there. On the full moon day, people are rounding the big area about 12hr hard walking with a 5,345m high pass(Chorten Cora)for best wishes to family and for good luck.

people stay 5 to 6 nights in the Gumpa area very hard. there are around a thousand tents.
Upper Dolpo Trek

Dolpo area is very famous for Tibetan culture and Tibetan scenery. Upper Mustang and Upper Dolpo are the Deseret area of Nepal. we can enjoy with-Natural beauty of Phoksthe undo Lake, and Kanjiroba Himal is the highest mountain in this area.

Upper Mustang Lo-manthang Trek

Upper Mustang Trek

The Upper Mustang is a very famous and popular trekking area in Nepal located in the north mid-western part of Nepal in the Mustang district in the Annapurna conservation area. Mustang is beyond the Himalayan range. There are two parts of Mustang:-Upper Mustang and Lower Mustang. The lower Mustang. The lower parts are very popular tourist destinations:- Jomsom, Kagbeni, and Muktinath. 

Muktinath is very famous for its Hindu temples and Buddhist monasteries and breathtaking mountain views. Lots of domestic and international tourists are visiting this area every year. Muktinath is a holy temple. It is situated 3847m high. before people had to walk from Beni Baglung to Jomsom Muktinath for about 4 to 6 days. But now people can visit by Bus (jeep) to Jomsom and Muktinath. 

From this area, you can see- Mt Dhaulagiri, Nilgiri, and other beautiful mountain views, people's cast and culture, and many more.
Mustang Lo Manthang Trek
The Upper Mustang Lo-man thang area is the richest area for religion and culture. Popular for domestic and international tourists. The main attractions in this area are:- Seven hundred years old royal palace (Mustang Durbar), Very old and historical monasteries (Gompas), More than four hundred caves, purely Tibetan culture, Magic landscape, Beautiful mountain views of Mt Dhaulagiri and Nilgiri Himalayan rang, Upper mustang is the desert area of Nepal and it is a very famous trekking destination in Nepal. It is only opened in 1992 for trekkers to visit the upper Mustang area.

Kanchenjunga Region Trek

Kanchenjunga Region is a popular trekking destination in Nepal. Mt Kanchenjunga is Nepal's second and world's third-highest mountain. it is situated in Taplejung district, far east northern parts of Nepal. The Kanchenjunga is the boundary of   India and Tibet with Nepal. It is the Kanchenjunga conservation area. KCA is the only protected area of Nepal managed by local communities. This area covers more than 56 percent of the total area of the Taplejung district with 2035 square kilometers. Kanchenjunga area is very famous for-Beautiful mountain views including Mt Kanchenjunga, Mt Makalu, Mt Janu, and lots of other beautiful mountain views.

Lots of different types of trees, plants, herbs, and rhododendron. 22 species of mammals;- Snow leopard, Red panda, Grey wolf, Himalayan black bear, Big group of blue sheep and Langur, and many more 

People and culture:-

There are mainly Hindu and Buddhist religious people. Mainly Foley and Ghunsa people are originally from Tibet and they have Tibetan culture. those village's villages people supply their needed things from Tibet. The folly small  Tibetan refuse village. For the villagers Drinking water, Health clinics, schools, and their own house roofs are also managed by the Tibetan government. 

For this district people got big help from Kanchenjunga School Project. This project help this area's people before long years about 25 years. For Health, Education, construction, and many more. Ghunsa and folly have Hydro-power electricity. the winter season is very hard to live people by heavy snow and very cold weather. You can enjoy visiting Kanchenjunga Region with beautiful mountain views, flora and fauna, people's living style and lifestyles different cast, and their culture.

1, Kanchenjunga North Base Camp Trek- Taplejung, Suketar, Lelep, Ghunsa, Khambachen, Lhonak and Kanchenjunga North Base Camp(Pangpema 5,140m) 
2, Kanchenjunga South Base Camp Trek- Suketar, Yamphuding, Cheiram, Ramche and  Kanchenjunga south Base Camp (Okhatang 4,810m)
3, Kanchenjunga Circuit Trek- South Base Camp, Miring la pass, Selele pass,  Ghunsa Village, Lonak, Pangpema(North Base Camp). 
4, Nagola Pass Olangchung Gola Trek- Ghunsa, Nangola pass, Olangchung gola, Yangma , Lelep, Taplejung.
5, Topkegola to Olangchung Gola Trek- Tokpe gola,  Sodu pokhari and Olangchung gola trek.
6, Milke Danda Trek

How to get there:- 

There are two ways:-
1, By Flight:- Flight from Kathmandu to Bhadrapur then drive to Taplejung. Or a direct flight from Kathmandu to Suketar airport after that start walking/trekking. 

2, By Bus:- From Kathmandu to Ilam by Bus then the next day from Ilam to Taplejung by Bus/Jeep (2 days drive) Or From Kathmandu to Hile Basantapur by Bus then start walking/Trekking.
